Prof. Dr. A.V. Srinivasan Meets Hon'ble Governor of Karnataka at Raj Bhavan to Discuss AYUSH Promotion and International Wellness Initiatives
Bengaluru, 15th May 2025, 15:45 hrs — In a significant meeting held at Raj Bhavan, Prof. Dr. A.V. Srinivasan, the AYUSH Commissioner for India GCC Trade Council and the Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce, and the Founder Chairman of Sri Paripoorna Sanathana Charitable Trust® (Nelamangala, Bangalore), met with the Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka. Accompanying him were Shri CA K.S. Ramaprasad, Trustee, and Dr. Sanjeev Bansal, Director of Sri Paripoorna Sanathana International Wellness Centre, a premier initiative of the Trust.
The Hon’ble Governor extended a warm reception to Prof. Dr. Srinivasan and his delegation. He held a detailed interaction regarding the Trust’s multifaceted philanthropic, wellness, and integrative health initiatives. The Governor expressed keen interest in the recently inaugurated Sri Paripoorna Sanathana International Wellness Centre, a beacon for promoting ancient healing sciences, especially Ayurveda and Marma therapy, under a globally inclusive wellness framework.

The AYUSH Commissioner formally invited the Hon’ble Governor to visit the International Wellness Centre at his convenience to witness firsthand the holistic health programs and global collaborations that position India as a leader in traditional medicine systems. The Governor expressed his appreciation for the efforts being undertaken and requested that an official invitation letter be sent for consideration, which Prof. Dr. Srinivasan agreed to submit promptly.
Prof. Dr. Srinivasan later remarked that the meeting was a momentous milestone in furthering the national and international recognition of India’s ancient healing traditions. “This interaction with the Hon’ble Governor marks a benchmark for our journey in positioning AYUSH on a global stage. His esteemed visit will symbolise state-level endorsement and inspire confidence in our commitment to integrative and preventive healthcare,” he stated.
